Toolbar Options

InfoColorVOIIndexPictureThese options are used to display information, control various aspects of the viewer state such as ROI color and coordinate mode, and to make screen captures.

Info
Image Info. This displays information from the image header in either a Summary mode (format-general) or Original (format-specific).

The Original format mode is essentially an image header dump and will, for example, show a list of DICOM metadata tags.

ROI Color
ROI Color. Select the current ROI color from this menu.

Single-slice Mode. Toggle between multi and single-slice modes. Multi-slice mode is indicated by three solid white bars — this representing the fact that all slices are operated upon. Single-slice mode is indicated by one solid white bar — representing the fact that only a single slice is operated upon.

Many tools are sensitive to this setting. For example, if ROI (single-slice) mode is selected, then the Threshold to ROI operation will create a new ROI only on the current main slice.

Image/World Mode
Coordinate Mode. Use this option to toggle between image index and world coordinate modes.

Image index mode displays the current coordinate as an index from the left-anterior-superior corner of the image. World mode displays the current coordinate as millimeters from the image origin.

If any atlases are found, a list of choices will be displayed. See the atlas section for more information.

Picture. This button is used to make screen captures. When a tool is displayed – such as Transform or Histogram – then this button will capture the tool as an image. Otherwise, tapping this button will capture the main slice view. These screen captures are saved in the Photos app.
